The @yorkshiremusicforum Yorkshire Music Forum Convention 2023 speakers keep on coming🎤 Closing the day, we are excited to announce a Keynote / in Conversation with Musician and Artists Manager @simonrix. Simon will also be joined by Jack Simpson (@hydeparkbookclub / @eiger_studios Studios / Vibrations). Simon has been in @kaiserchiefs since they began in 2003. Throughout their career, Kaiser Chiefs have achieved two number-one albums and many more accolades, including 3 Brit awards and a prestigious Ivor Novello for debut album Employment. He has also been involved in the Leeds Music Scene, previously working in various bars and venues in the city and playing in other local bands. Simon has released records by other musicians via his label Chewing Gum Records and more recently with @launchpadplus. He manages & mentors up-and-coming acts, including @treeboyandarc, under his management company, @holymolymgmt. As an ambassador at Amnesty International, Simon works on various projects. He also is president of the Leeds United Trust, producing a podcast about the team.
